Shrubby tree, up to 3 meters high, glabrous or pubescent, with small leaves, petioled, variable in shaped rounded to obovate, base rounded to cordate, dentate or margin irregularly toothed. Peduncles 1-flowered, shorter than leaf. Sepals 5, linear-lanceolate, free, longer than the linear, bifid white petals. Drupe shining, glabbrous, orange, 2-4 lobed. 

Flowering from March to June.
Wadis and mountain slopes, among rocks.
