Low annual herb, 10-15 cm high, with many branches from the base and with glabrescent distinctly petioled leaves. Leaves linear to broadly obovate, up to 3.5 cm long and 1 cm eide. inflorescence with 3-flowers, spiny but not scarious, spines plumose. Sepals 5, free, linear-oblong, mucronate about 5 mm long. Petals 5, linear, white, shorter than filaments. Stamens 5. Fruit 1-seeded, indehiscent. 

Flowering from February to April.
Wadis, mountain slopes among rocks.
