very similar to Launaea nudicaulis, but it is perennial herb, with nearly leafless, procumbent or ascending stems; the outer achenes attenuate at the tip, black; the inner ones white. Pappus very caducous. 

Flowering from February to May.
Weed of irrigated and cultivated localities and sandy soil.
