Annual, erect or ascending, slender, thin herb, 15-30 cm high, glabrous, with narrow hastate, entire leaves, 1-3 cm long; the basal ones more rounded. Peduncles filiform, longer or as long as leaves. Flowers solitary, 5-9 mm long. Calyx deeply 5-lobed; lobes linear-lanceolate, subequal. Corolla yellow, bilabiata, with short spur, hairy or pubescent palate. Capsule 2-4 mm long. Seeds ellipsoid. Flowering from February to April.
