Annual, stems branched, erect, up to 10 cm, 4-angled. Leaves linear to lance-shaped, 0.1* 0.1-0.3 cm, pointed tip, base slightly clasping. Flowers c. 0.8 cm across, on hair-like, down-curved stalk up to 0.3 cm, petals round. Fruit a round 5-valved capsule. Flowering from February to April.
