Ornamental plant.
Annual herb, more or less hairy, 20-40 cm high. Stem erect or prostrate to decumbent, much branched. Leaves 1-5 cm long, 1-4 cm broad, blade orbicular to reniform, 3-5 palmatly-lobed or undivided, serrate-crenate, hairy below. Stipules 3-7 mm, ovate-lanceolate. Petiole up to 15 cm long, hairy above. Pedicels 4-9 mm long, in fruit up to 1.5 cm long. Flowers 2-3 in axillary clusters. Epicalyx of 3 ovate to oblong bracteoles. Calyx -lobes 4-8 mm long, triangular. Petals 8-12 mm long, bluish-pinkish above, whitish below, twice as long as calyx, claws of petals bearded. Fruit discoid, about 1 cm in diameter. Seeds dark brown. Flowering from February to June.
