Infusion of dried plants used for uterine bleeding and pain; also used to stop nosebleeds.
Annual herb, very variable, glabrous or pubescent, up to 30 cm high. Stem branched pubescent below. Basal leaves lobed or pinnatifid, upper leaves sessile, oblong-lanceolate, clasping. Flowers minute, in racemes, with slender spreading pedicels. Sepals green or with white margins. Petals white, 2-2.5 mm. Fruiting pedicels 5-18 mm long. Silicle 6-8 mm long, triangular, deeply emarginate at apex, glabrous. Seeds small, numerous, brown. Flowering from February to April.
