Perennial, shrubby, rigid, often woody at base, covered with dense bipartite appressed hairs, up to 40 cm high. Branches long, erect. Leaves linear, 1-3 cm long, sessile, entire. Flowers in long spicate racemes. Sepals 3-4 mm long, with scarious margins. Petals obovate, slightly longer than sepals, pink or orange. Silique 20-25 mm long, 2.5-4 mm broad, compressed, narrowed or linear, valves mostly nerveless. Style slender, about 1.5 mm long. Seeds about 2 mm in diameter. Flowering from February to April.
Sandy soil.
