Annual herb, 5-30 cm high, with many branches and sparingly papillose-puberulent or viscid near base. Basal leaves lanceolate-oblong, runcinate-dentate or pinnatifid, 4-6 cm long, 1-2.5 cm broad; stem leaves smaller, linear, nearly entire. Petals yellow about 2 mm long. Silicles ovoid, indehiscent, 2-5 mm long, 1-seeded, with oblique flattened beak longer than fruit proper. Flowering from February to April.
