A moss-like herb, with simple stems, up to 8 cm high. Leaves simple, opposite, thick, usually connate, fleshy, linear, 2-4 mm long, sessile, entire, acute. Flowers minute, about 1 mm wide, 1-2 in the leaf axils, greenish-brown. Flowering from February to April.
Mountains slopes, among rocks.
