Undershrub, erect, up to 50 cm high, gray-canescent, hairs appressed more or less glandular, branches numerous. Leaflets 5-11, obovate, obtuse, subsessile, 3-5 mm long, densely appressed, pubescent on both sides. Racemes rather loose, many flowered, exceeding the leaves. Pedicel very short. Flowers 3-6 mm long. Calyx 2-3 mm long, pubescent. Corolla reddish-yellow. Standard 5-6 mm long. Pod deflexed, linear, 8-14 mm long, pubescent, slightly torulose, 4-6 seeded. Flowering from November to April.
Sandy soil and gravelly wadi beds.
