Tolerates saline conditions.
Small, slender, prostrate or decumbent herb, 5-25 cm high, much branched from the base appressed-pubescent. Petioles much shorter than the leaflets. Leaflets obovate to elliptic, 2-8 mm long, 2-4 mm broad, obtuse. Stipules ovate. Flowers pale yellow, 5-8 mm long, solitary or in pairs on (10-15 mm ) slender, axillary peduncles. Calyx unequal, lanceolate-subulate teeth. Corolla about 1.5 times as long as calyx. Standard 6-8 mm long, entire at the apex; keel slightly shorter than the wings. Pod glabrous, linear, curved at tip, 12-30 mm long and 1-1.5 mm wide, dark brown. Seeds smooth, subglobose, yellow. Flowering from February to May.
