Annul, 2-2.5 cm high, diffuse, glabrescent, much-branched from the base, branches prostrate. Stipules 2-3 mm long, semisagittate, entire or the lower ones dentate. Petiole 10-40 mm long. Leaflets obovate to obcordate, dentate above, entire below, obtuse, 4-10 mm long, 3-8 mm wide. Flowers 5-8 together, small, 4-5 mm long, nearly sessile in axils. Calyx two thirds as long as corolla, tubular, teeth subulate. Corolla yellowish, standard longer than wings and keel, obovate, notched. Pods 4-8 mm long and 1-2 mm wide, stellate spreading, terete, curved, glabrous or sparingly hairy, with transversely oblique nerves. Seeds many, ovoid, small, smooth. Flowering from February to April.
