Annual, erect or ascending, stellate-pubescent herb, up to 40 cm high, with many branched. Leaves 3-8 cm long, of much various appearance and thin to thick, entire to undulate. Petioles are twice or more as long as the leaf-blade, stamens 5. Capsule ovate-globular, stellate tomentose and tuberculate, about 6 mm in diameter. Flowering from February to May.
