Annual, 10-40 cm high, glaucous, glabrous or sparsely hairy. Stems erect or ascending, simple or branched from base. Leaves alternate, caducous, spathulate, serrulate, obtuse, 2-4 cm long; leaves of the pseudoumbel often larger, obovate to orbicular. Umbels 5-rayed, 2-4 cm long. Glands greenish. Capsules about 3.5 mm across, smooth. Seeds 2 mm long, ovoid, reticulate, dark brown. Flowering from February to April.
