Annual, 10-35 cm high, pubescent, decumbent, rarely erect. Stems branched. Leaves ovate-oblong, obtuse, obliquely rounded at the base, remotely serrulate, 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, with short-petioled. Stipules triangular, setaceous. Cyathia aggregated in axillary bracteate, pedunculate clusters. Glands ovate, with a white appendix. Capsules about 2 mm across, adpressed-hirsute. Seeds small, quadrangular, with reticulate furrows. Flowering from September to November.
