Annual herb. Stem twining or prostrate, hairy, 1-2 meters long. Leaves petiolate, palmately divided nearly to the base, 5-9 lobed, lobes elliptic, acuminate, narrowed at base, hirsute on both surfaces, 3-7 cm long. Flowers involucrate-cymose, hirsute 5-12 mm long. Corolla funnel-shaped, pale-pink, rarely white, 3-4 cm long. Capsule ovoid, 6-9 mm long, nearly glabrous. Seeds about 4 mm long, nearly glabrous. Flowering from August to October.
Sandy soil.
