Annual herbs, 5-12 cm high, much branched, leafy, sparsely glandular or pubescence. Leaves 2-3 cm long, 5-10 mm broad, ovate or oblong, obtuse, hairy; upper leaves shorter and broader. Peduncles solitary and axillary. Bracts 1-3 mm long. Calyx short, deeply-cleft, linear-lanceolate, lobed, 4-6 mm long, or as long as pedicels. Corolla pale bluish-white, tubular, about 1 cm long, with 5-subequal lobes. Capsule ovoid-oblong, 6-9 mm long. Flowering March to May.
