Desert annual or perennial herbs, up to 45 cm high, erect, branched from the base, scarious to hairy. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, acute, up to 1.5 cm long, 5-7 mm wide. Corolla up to 15 mm long, tubular. Calyx small, hairy below, cup-shape, with 4, acute, triangular lobes. Fruit capsule, globose, about 7 mm in diameter.
Desert plant, in the sandy and dry gravely places.
