Perennial, rounded like cushion, stems branched, erect, up to 25-60 cm, covered with sticky glands, often with adhering sand. Leaves round, 0.8-2*0.8-1.5 cm, with 3 nerves, fleshy, densely hairy, pointed tip, on stalks up to 2 cm. Flowers yellow with central reddish-brown stripe, 1-1.2 cm across, on few-flowered sprays from upper leaf-axils, 2narrow and 2 broad petals, curved back tightly. Fruit a capsule, 0.5*1-2 cm, hairy, erect. Flowering from February to January.
Gravel of plains, wadis and low mountains.
