Annual or short-lived perennial, woody base, stems erect and spreading, up to 50 cm, somewhat sticky. Leaves roughly triangular, 0.4-1.5 * 0.6-1.8 (-2.5) cm, lower leaves with one or two pairs of opposite teeth on edges on hair-like 1.2 cm long stalks. Upper leaves arrow-shaped, with wings. Flowers solitary, pale yellow, c. 1 cm long, densely hairy on outside, with 0.5 cm long spur, on hair-like stalks up to 1 cm. Fruit a round capsule, c. 0.3 cm across. Flowering from February to April.
