Honey nectar plants. highly grazable, widely used in folk medicine. Powdered leaves and seeds mixed with sugar and lemon, boiled and filtered, taken by mouth as treatment for constipation.

Undershrub, erect or prostrare and spreading, 40-70 cm high. Stems branching from woody base, glaucous, shortly pubescent or glabrous. Leaves paripinnate; leaflets obovate, obtuse, short-mucronate, in 3-7 pairs, midrib and venation prominent, 1.5-3 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, unequal at base on short petiolules. Sttipules entire, 4-7 mm long. Flowering from March-June, November-December.
