Perennial, stems much-branched, erect, up to 80 cm. Leaves succulent, cylindrical, 0.3*0.5 -1.5 cm, on stalk of equal length. Flowers solitary, c.0.5 cm across, 5 white petals half hidden in hooded green sepals, on 0.3 cm long stalk. Fruit club-like, on 0.5 cm long stalk. Flowering from September to May.
